Located inside the village bus shelter - see Image . Inscribed 'In HONOURED MEMORY of THE MEN of this PARISH WHO GAVE their LIVES for their KING and COUNTRY' 1939 - 1945. Five names follow, for more details see the War Memorials Register https://www.iwm.org.uk/memorials/item/memorial/3119 . The tablet is of stone (looks like Shap granite) with a highly polished surface. Limited photographic skills prevented us from capturing a clearer image.
