Here the railway runs under a bridge in Oswald Rd. Sadly now longer used for passengers, this freight only line was once threatened with closure and being turned into a ring road, however there is now talk that it might one day be passenger carrying again. Meanwhile it functions as a wildlife haven, where foxes can be seen ambling between shady suburban gardens.
