Only the different colour of the stone tells me that the right-hand end of this lodge is not part of the original building. That and the date 2016 carved into the stone above the panel saying 'West Lodge' between the windows. The extension has been impeccably matched to the original building, though I wonder why the line of the original roof was not continued?
