The photograph on this page of Co-operative buildings over the years by Gerald England as part of the Geograph project.

The view is across the tram tracks out of Victoria Station. The old building in view is Hanover House Image built for the Co-operative Wholesale Society in 1905. Behind it can be seen the CIS Tower Image constructed in 1959-62 to the design of George C Hay. On the left is the new HQ of the Cooperative movement at 1 Angel Square which opened in 2012 Image
