The extensive grounds of Mowden Hall, a preparatory boarding school for boys and girls. Founded in 1935 at Mowden Hall, Darlington (which is now the centre for Teachers Pensions administration); moved to the present imposing site in the Tyne valley after World War II. http://www.mowdenhall.co.uk
