Another example of Herefordshire half-timbering, quite prevalent in this county. On the right, just visible is Ledbury Market Hall, standing on (or was) 16 pillars of Spanish chestnut beside the present-day A449 Malvern – Ross on Wye Road. Thanks to Tuppence and Mark Anderson for identifying this photo from the past. The slide is imprinted with the date May 63, which seems improbable and due to the rather dark day I will date it to December 1962. Time photo taken not available. Image
