Newland Furnace

One of the last charcoal iron blast furnaces to be built, in 1747. Closed in 1891. Restoration began in 1989 by the Newland Furnace Trust. Grade II* Listed Building - see https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1096782
