Emmaus Church Centre is a modern purpose-built building which opened in 1993. The history of the church dates from the 1930s when some Christians in Severn Beach met for worship and prayer in Nissen huts in Shaft Road. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5901581 to the information board on the right.
