Opened in 1932 by the Metropolitan Railway on its line from (London) Baker Street to Chesham, this station replaced an earlier one on the far side of the bridge in the distance. View south east towards Wembley Park and London. The platforms only serve the 'slow' lines. Like 55% of the London Underground network, this part is actually overground.
