Whatever your feelings about graveside adornments on infant Christian burials, the cemetery behind the Church of St Nicholas, Lincoln has a relaxed attitude as they allow plastic flowers, toys, wind chimes etc. Not long ago these were unthinkable and still are in some cemeteries. I wasn’t quite sure what to think, but now I’m warming to them.
