A rather striking, Category B listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200386659-town-hall-south-street-and-queens-gardens-st-andrews-ward building on the corner of Queen's Gardens and South Street. It was built in the late 1850s, extended nearly 30 years later, and much altered around 1960, but attracted its listed status in 1971. A panel from the town's 16th century tollbooth is preserved in the lobby entrance.
