Further progress has been made on the new war memorial in The Leys park. It will be unveiled in November 2018 at one of the events to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the end of World War I. This event will include a "poppy mile", which leads from the Corn Exchange, up Church Green and then onto The Leys (the route soldiers would have taken as they set off to war). Image
