The old GNR Finsbury Park - Edgware route. This part was planned under the London Passenger Transport Board New Works Programme to be electrified as part of the Northern Line, but work was abandoned after WWII. However these platforms had already been rebuilt at a compromise tube train/main line height. The latterly freight only line closed in 1964. Much of the route is now a path and linear nature reserve.
