Grade II listed building on the corner of High Street and Leigh Road. A stone plaque above the doorway on the right shows CLUB AND LIBRARY 1885. Built for William S. Clark for use by his employees at the nearby Clarks shoe factory. St Crispin in the patron saint of shoemakers, cobblers etc. Viewed in September 2016.
