The River Churn pictured from the bridge crossing the river at Baunton. This is a tributary of the River Thames, though some would argue this should be the true Thames as this river is longer, and its source is higher, than that of the River Thames at Thameshead. If this were the recognised route of the Thames it would be the longest river in Britain, longer than the River Severn.
