Interior view of Roger Hiorns's 2008 work under the title of Seizure https://ysp.org.uk/openair/seizure in the Yorkshire Sculpture Park http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5837988 . To produce these crystal-encrusted walls, a disused flat was extracted from a tower block in south London, sealed and filled with concentrated copper sulphate solution. After just over a month, the supernatant was pumped out, leaving large blue crystals http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5834709 on all surfaces.
