The avenue of trees on Station Road look particularly attractive at this time of year. Royal Mews can be seen on the left. It was built in 2007-8 and are apartments. On the opposite side of the road, here unseen, is the deteriorating Royal Hotel. Immediately behind the trees on the right are the hotel gardens, which are completely derelict and generally inaccessible.
