The view has changed with the reconstruction of the centre section of the Radcliffe Road End on the other side of the ground (in Image). (The picture was taken shortly after the start of the final session of the day-night County Championship match against Worcestershire: the floodlights were on - superfluously at 7.30 in midsummer - as play would end after sunset. Despite lovely weather, pink-ball cricket proved as unpopular at Trent Bridge as elsewhere and the crowd was much smaller than is usual - diehards only....)
