This scene appears to have changed over the years as I'm sure the lower end of this bridleway used to be on open ground at the edge of a field. Maybe the field boundary has been moved, thus making the b/w more obvious, but also allowing the growth of vegetation to the sides. Lower slopes of Wool Moor in the distance.
