Located here. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5811965 The upper plaque records the planting in June 2004 of a nearby cherry tree https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5811955 to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Caerleon branch of the Royal British Legion on June 23rd 1924. The lower plaque marks the site of the Ancient Roman Legate's residence. The plaque records that the legionary legate was from an aristocratic Roman family.
