TS Lord Nelson, currently permanently docked by the Foundry Bridge opposite the Nelson pub, is a former Swedish Navy fast missile attack craft previously named "P155 Vale". It arrived in Norwich on 1 September 2004 to begin a new career as the headquarters ship for the Norwich Sea Cadets (SCC) and after some refurbishment the ship was commissioned in September 2007. As the cadets will soon be moving to the Territorial Army and Army Reserve Centre in Aylsham Road the ship was set to be scrapped but will now be turned into a community cafe on the River Deben in Woodbridge, Suffolk.
