Trinity Baptist Church, Robert Street, Colne

This building was originally built as a Sunday School and was opened in the 1870s, not long before the new Trinity Baptist Church on the site where the cars are now parked. It is a great pity that this church did not survive as it was an excellent example of late Victorian church architecture: however, it was vacated in 1970 in favour of the building shown here, and passed into secular use, and was finally demolished in 1985.
