The Trail follows the western edge of the Peak District between Disley and Kidsgrove https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/leisure,_culture_and_tourism/ranger_service/countryside_sites/the_gritstone_trail/gritstone-trail.aspx . The notice on the post requests walkers to keep a safe distance from dogs being exercised from the nearby Windyway Kennels.
