National Cycle Route 3 runs through this part of Whitchurch on the outskirts of Bristol before heading south to the distant city of Wells. It is part of the Railway Path, which uses some of the former Bristol and North Somerset Line of the G.W.R. However, one section is now owned by the British Legion and hence the path takes a short diversion parallel to it before returning here.
