One of the former outbuildings of the fine Image, this Grade II listed barn https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101208645-barn-north-west-of-the-old-hall-madeley#.Wt-WwtQrLGg is believed to be 17th century, and was listed in 1983. Partly visible to the left is the 19th century former 'horse-engine' house, or gin-gang, in which a horse was persuaded to walk in endless circles to provide power to threshing or milling machinery. The whole is now converted to offices.
