The A761 road is in the foreground, where it passes under the Glasgow to Ayr railway line at Newton Terrace. Two former railway lines can also be seen; the former Paisley Canal line runs diagonally down from the top left and the former Paisley & Barrhead District line (the 'Dummy railway' http://railway.paisleyhistory.uk/ ) follows the line of pylons in the centre of the photo
