Nos 1, 2 & 3 in Mardol were granted a collective Grade II listing https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101254601-12-and-3-mardol-shrewsbury#.WsxZKPnwaM8 in 1972. They generally date from the late 18th or early 19th century, albeit with alterations and inserted shopfronts since then, and were originally built as dwellings.
