This craft ales and cider house opened in 2016. A welcome addition to the town which has lost so many public houses in recent years. Interestingly this building seems to be based on what was originally a tram shelter opened in 1911 as Oxford Street was the Kidderminster terminus. That building was of wooden construction but possibly it was reconstructed as in the final years of the tramway the terminus was diverted to New Road. Somewhere between 1924 and 1927 as the shelter was no longer needed it appears to have been converted to a shop. At the same time two additional shop units in a very similar style were added. These are currently occupied by the Oxford Café. Compared to most public houses this one has quite restricted opening hours. Check before visiting! Image
