Independent non-denominational senior school for girls. Founded in 1858 by Mrs Miriam Badock, Badminton was set up to offer girls the same educational opportunities that their brothers enjoyed. In 1942, the school moved from Badminton House, Clifton, to this site. Past pupils include Indira Gandhi, Iris Murdoch and Dame Sybil Thorndike.
