Opened in 1910 by the Great Western Railway on the line from Filton Junction to Avonmouth Docks, this station closed in 1915. It was reopened in 1922, the line now having become the Henbury Loop line. The station closed in 1965. View east towards Charlton Halt and Filton. The Avonmouth platform on the right still survived when this image was taken, but the 1922 Filton-bound platform had disappeared.
