West Drayton Cemetery was established in 1939 by the Burial Board. Although most of the graves are fairly standard there are a few very elaborate ones. The war memorial for the Urban District of Yiewsley and West Drayton seen here is outside the main gate on Harmondsworth Road. A close up of the memorial, which includes the famous words by Laurence Binyon "They shall not grow old ...", can be seen at https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5709850
