Introduction

The photograph on this page of Path to King's Park by Lairich Rig as part of the Geograph project.

Path to King's Park

The view is from about the same place as Image, but in the opposite direction; note the steep rocky slope to the left. At the time of writing, OS maps, at various scales, displace the name "The Homesteads" so that it seems to apply to the western end of the plateau above those rocks; the name in fact applies to the area of housing just south of the photographer's position.
