Normally at 9am on a schoolday this junior school would be bustling with teachers, parents and children - but in this view it is deserted. All of Rugby's schools were closed for the day due to the weather conditions, when a biting east wind (dubbed by the media 'the beast from the east') brought exceptionally low temperatures for March and several inches of snow.
