To their credit Lloyds Bank promised that when their Carterton branch closed on the 27th September 2017 they would ensure that the town was visited by a mobile unit. This large van provides this and currently visits the town on two days a week. This contrasts with HSBC who also closed their local branch in 2017 but referred customers to their Witney branch.
