Looking east from the bridge carrying Ordsall Road across the railway line from Sheffield. On the left is Image; on the right is the line to Lincoln and Cleethorpes, which was lowered in 1965 to pass under the East Coast main line just south of Retford station, allowing the removal of the infamous flat crossing. The lines diverge at Whisker Hill Junction (behind the photographer).
