Despite the condition, the building pictured is still very valuable to the absent property owners. Planning officials are notoriously famous for disallowing planning applications for new housing in green belt areas. Although nobody lives here, the value is in the fact the house does exist on the plot, and an owner would be allowed to demolish and replace them with a more modern structure... all with stunning views of Lough Neagh.
