Situated between the multi-storey car park and The Mercat shopping centre the old swimming pool on Kirkcaldy Esplanade is being demolished. There are tentative plans to build a cinema complex on the site. The entrance on the extreme right of the image leads to the underground service areas of business premises in The Mercat.
