The sign reads: "Air quality management area- Reduce harmful emissions - TURN OFF your engine whilst stationary" with a logo for the London Borough of Ealing. It is in Horn Lane just approaching traffic lights at Gypsy Corner, the junction with A40 Western Avenue. Because of heavy traffic on the A40 there is substantial air pollution in the area, and because the A40 has priority traffic on Horn Lane has a substantial wait at traffic lights.
