Clack Lane leads from Ickenham Road out into the countryside between Ickenham and Ruislip. Ruislip Golf Course is on the left here and this is just after Hill Lane has turned off towards Ruislip, when Clack Lane becomes the footpath seen here. A little way ahead the Hillingdon Trail is reached. The Hillingdon Trail is a 20 mile path through Hillingdon's countryside from Cranford in the south-east to Harefield in the north-west. See https://archive.hillingdon.gov.uk/hillingdontrail and http://www.gps-routes.co.uk/routes/home.nsf/RoutesLinksWalks/hillingdon-trail-walking-route for more information.
