Grade II Listed mid 16th century house restored 1960-61. Formerly a bake house, when the surrounding area was redeveloped in 1960-61 this was the only one (of three) shops that was restored and retained. Change of use permission was granted in 1997 for food and drink retail, presumably for The Old Bakery Tea Rooms who now occupy the building that changed ownership in 2005. The building was the inspiration for Lilliput Lane's 'Christmas Pantry' released in 2005.
