Former Heatherbank Museum Of Social Work On Mugdock Road. The following extract is from the Culture 24 web site : http://www.culture24.org.uk/sc000123 . Heatherbank Museum of Social Work was founded in 1975 by Colin and Rosemary Harvey. Its first site was as part of their early Victorian house and the adjacent coach-house situated in Milngavie, seven miles north of Glasgow. By 1993 both Colin and Rosemary had died and the following year the Museum moved to Glasgow Caledonian University. At the end of 2004 there ceased to be a physical Museum at the University. The Heatherbank Social Work Collection however is very much part of the University’s Research Collection and remains available for consultation. It is used not only by GCU students and staff but by the international research community.
