Wasteland at Pomona

The area on the south side of the Manchester Ship Canal which is the site of the former Pomona Docks is a veritable wasteland. On the left is the Metrolink tramline. In the background is Adamson House, a four storey office block close to Pomona tram stop. On the right and across the canal are buildings around Exchange Quay. The land here on the south side of the canal is owned by Peel Holdings and in all likelihood will be redeveloped some time in the future by building yet more high rise apartment and office blocks.
