View NE, towards Ryde, Isle of Wight Railway Ryde Pier Head - Ventnor line, which was closed beyond Shanklin 8/11/66 and the rest electrified. On the can be seen the former Isle of Wight Central branch from Merstone, closed 6/2/56.
