A view in the B wing exercise yard of the former Gloucester Prison. Having been closed some three years ago by the Ministry of Justice, the site is now in the ownership of City and Country who are to develop the site for residential use. These photos were taken on the afternoon of an English Heritage members exclusive tour, in tandem with tours being run that day by Jailhouse Tours. Time photo taken 1.39 pm BST (British Summer Time).
