Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of TAWSTOCK (WEST DEVON District), Old Torrington Road, just South of junction with Bickington Road and Copley Road, Sticklepath, on ornamental planted bank, protected by concrete slabs, on West side of road. Barum tombstone, erected by the Barnstaple turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 1 BARUM Carved benchmark on face. Milestone Society National ID: DV_BSGT01.
