Carved stone post by the B6279, in parish of STREATLAM AND STAINTON (TEESDALE District), Ingleton Grange, on grass verge, on North side of road. Erected by the Cockerton Bridge & Staindrop turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription once read:- : (Staindrop 2 / Darlington) 9 : Milestone Society National ID: DU_DASD09.
