Carved stone post by the A67, in parish of LOW CONISCLIFFE AND MERRYBENT (DARLINGTON District), Conniscliffe Road, Broken Brae carpark, near pumping station, on grass verge, on South side of road, just West of car park entrance. BC/D stone, erected by the Stockton & Barnard Castle turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : BC / (14) : : D / (2) : (To Barnard Castle and Darlington) Milestone Society National ID: DU_DABC02.
