Carved stone post by the A354, in parish of MILBORNE ST ANDREW (NORTH DORSET District), East of Milborne St Andrew, by signboard for Royal Oak PH, on narrow rough verge against hedge, West of lay-by, on South side of road. Dorset 1 (limestone), erected by the Harnham, Blandford & Dorchester turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- Blandford 7 Dorchester 9 Carved benchmark bottom centre of front face.
