Carved stone post by the A356, in parish of CORSCOMBE (WEST DORSET District), 100m East of Halstock and Corscombe turning, by the road, on North side of the road. Dorset 1 (limestone), erected by the Maiden Newton turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 7 Maiden Newton 6 Crewkerne Milestone Society National ID: DO_CWMN06.
