Carved stone post by the A30, in parish of LUDGVAN (PENWITH District), on rise West of Canonstown, crude painting (July 99), on South side of road. Hayle facets, erected by the Hayle Bridge Causeway turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : PENZANCE / 5 MILES / LAND'S END / 15 : : HAYLE / 3 MILES / CAMBORNE / 9 / REDRUTH / 12 / TRURO / 21 : Carved benchmark on left face. Grade II Listed.
